Wrestling For Police Course Options
Wrestling For Police, Firefighters, Medics and ALL First Responders Courses
No experience is needed to attend the Wrestling For Police and First Responder Courses. These courses are designed for police, firefighters, paramedics, correctional officers, security officers and any other service oriented profession. We encourage those with no prior wrestling background to attend.
Individual WFP Course
This course is designed for those who want to attend the WFP training on their own outside of their respective agencies or departments.
This is a 4-hour block of hands on instruction. The WFP staff will demonstrate hand control, hip control and leveraging momentum. Students will be put through a variety of drills and some live scenarios. Each individual will leave the training with an eye opening realization that what WFP teaches is real and that it works. Each individual in attendance will receive a WFP certificate of completion.
Here is what the course covers:
Hand Control
Westling For Police demonstrates how to counter even the toughest grip with ease, through something known as hand fighting. No one will be able to control your movements by latching onto your hands, wrists or arms. Even the most elite wrestlers applaud this Wrestling For Police technique.
Hip Control
Wrestling For Police demonstrates how controlling the hips is the most vital part of staying in a fight and gaining ultimate control. Learn how to obtain hip control and take even the most violent individuals to the ground "gracefully" without injuring yourself or the offender. Learn how to control the hips while on the ground and to keep the offender on the ground while maintaining absolute control.
Leveraging Momentum
Wresting For Police shows how even the smallest individual can counteract an attack by using this WFP system and take a larger individual to the ground with minimal injury to yourself and the offender.
This course trains absolute control through basic wrestling. There are no choke holds, joint manipulations, knees on the back or strikes taught in this course.
You will learn how to be in total control on your feet, turn an individual who is standing and refusing to be handcuffed and how to take an individual to the ground and keep him/her there through absolute control, and much more.
Contact us for a course scheduling and to register. Courses will held in June and July in Sykesville, Maryland. More courses will be offered in the future in other locations.
